Dinner experience.
Excellent food, we had a steak , chicken curry & lasagna . We like to choose different items so we can compare but to be honest every meal was excellent , tasty & very well presented on plate , service excellent also. Wished we stayed in Laxey !!

Afternoon Tea
Enjoyed the experience. Delicious scone and yummy cakes. Sandwiches could do with improving presentation a bit squashed looking.. Also a lovely touch would be a small dish of coleslaw, chutney and a few crisps.
Sunday Carvery
We were a group of 11 and I can honestly say we all thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. The food was amazing and there was loads of it. The service was very friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. We have told everyone about it and we will definitely be back soon!
Sorry but not very good
We are looking for somewhere to have Sunday lunch on a regular basis but this is not right for us. We were shown to a table which was in direct line of the permanently open doors so it was very draughty and not very pleasant. We were not told all the options for starters and only knew there was soup when we saw someone else having some taken from the carvery area. We had to ask about bread which was on the ledge behind the carvery area and not at all obvious. We were not told about the vegetarian option and we had to ask. There was one vege choice which we did not want. There was no fish option at all. Our main meal was a selection of vegetables from the carvery. They were very nice and I enjoyed them. The pudding selection was good and very nice.I would have liked more but did not feel comfortable about doing the walk of shame past the chef. The room filled up but there was very little atmosphere and as I was quite chilly from the draughty seat, we had tea and coffee and left.
